Description

Fine solid gold ring with Australian Parti sapphire.

Cleopatra's Bling is handmade & ethical jewellery - unique pieces inspired by history, culture & nature.

The Leonids, a meteor shower of intense brightness, symbolise the vast unknown of space, our connection to other universes, and the beauty of organic, rough perfection.

Cleopatra's Bling is at once an ode to the past and a celebration of the present. Founded in 2014 by the visionary designer Olivia Cummings, it draws inspiration from the cultural heritage and timeless beauty of the Mediterranean and Middle East, as well as the verdant landscapes of Olivia’s Australian home.

Each mesmerising piece of ethical jewellery is a work of art, crafted by hand with passion and care and imbued with ancient symbolism. From glimmering gold and silver to precious stones, intricate beading, and enamel, every detail is an artistic feast for the senses. The artisans, from Turkey to Italy to India, breathe life into Olivia’s designs, braiding together cultural legacies with contemporary design sensibilities.

Although most commonly known for their famous blue varieties, sapphires come in a startling variety of shades, from greens to pinks, yellows, browns, and teal. Australian Parti sapphires are particularly beautiful, featuring multiple hues within one stone.

Sapphires are associated with tradition and wisdom, having adorned royal regalia since the time of the Ancient Greeks.

TO CLEAN, briefly soak in lukewarm water with a small amount of baking soda and dish soap. Remove, rinse, and brush with a soft toothbrush. Dry with a polishing cloth. Limit cleaning to maximum of two times per year.
