This beautiful 24.10ct Larimar crescent moon is ethically sourced straight from the Dominican Republic.
I created it using a Vintage Towle Sterling Spoon Up-cycled to an Artisan cuff with a beautiful larimar Cabochon as the centerpiece. The stone is set with a silver scalloped bezel and looped around with a star-textured frame, a solid Belcher link chain features on one side, and a Lobster clasp finishes the piece; (it did have a handmade clasp, however I have swapped it over now)65mm in diameter and weighs 33g.

Larimar is exclusively found in the Dominican Republic, specifically in the Bahoruco mountain range near Barahona.
After years of limited access due to pandemic shutdowns and safety concerns, mining operations have resumed in full force as of 2025. The government of the Dominican Republic has stepped in with new safety protocols, landslide monitoring systems, and miner training programs to ensure that Larimar—one of the rarest gemstones on Earth—can continue to be sourced ethically and sustainably.
Larimar is the embodiment of the tranquil Sea and Sky energies. Its soft, soothing blues and calming turquoise are streaked with white patterns that resemble sunlight dancing beneath Caribbean waters. It brings the ancient wisdom of Atlantis and the healing power of dolphins to harmonize the body and soul.
