This is a one-off pendant made using the sand casting technique and inspired by the West American culture. Included is our 45cm solid sterling silver oval Belcher link chain with 925 lobster claw clasp.
The rough QLD sapphires were placed inside the sand mold and liquid sterling silver was poured into the mold wrapping around the stones and holding them securely in place as the metal cooled.
The silver has been oxidised and given a high polish to accentuate the organic texture the sand casting leaves on the surface of the metal.
This is a very cool spirit animal pendant.
