Active in electroplating from 1883 at Suffolk Works, 1 Suffolk Rd, Sheffield (1867-1940). The firm changed to T. Turner & Co Ltd in 1918. In 1919 it became part of Sheffield Cutlery Manufacturers Ltd, an amalgamation led by Needham, Veall & Tyzack. In 1932 the firm fell bankrupt and Viners bought the business. The firm used the trademarks ENCORE, PEDIGREE PLATE, and TALBOT (pewter wares: 1920s and 1930s). Amalgamated in 1898 with Wingfield, Rowbotham, and Co. In 1907 Turner & Co was the proprietor of the trademark WINGFIELD
