Handcrafted Copper Feather Pendant

An elongated copper pendant featuring an ornate feather against a textured background. Flowing lines and darkened details stand out against the polished copper, creating an earthy piece full of character.

Handcrafted in my Pomona studio, the shape was hand sawn before the design was imprinted using a rolling mill and patterned template. Each edge was sanded smooth and a handmade copper bail added. Liver of sulphur highlights the impressions, with polishing and a final tumble polish completing the finish.

Copper naturally develops a patina over time. Gently clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive polishing over the darkened design.
