The evil eye, known as “mati” (μάτι) in Greek culture, is a curse thought to be given by a malicious glare that can cause bad luck or loss. You may have heard someone giving you the "evil eye" from across the room - and many people around the world believe this to be more than just a saying.

If you wear the evil eye figure in talismans, symbols, and jewelry, you're supposedly shielding yourself from greater doom. Wearing the evil eye as a protective ward is known to reflect the power of evil glares back at the caster. It can even nullify the curse and all the bad intentions cast on you.

The word ammonite is derived from Ammon, an Egyptian god who took the form of a ram. Ammonites are similar in appearance to a ram's horn.

The spiral shape of these fossilized creatures symbolizes continual change and evolution. The Ammonite draws off all negative energies. Think of the Ammonite spirals as a filter, drawing in these dense energies which are no longer needed, moving them through the spirals, and releasing them as fresh, positive, loving life force energies.

The Ammonite is a very powerful earth-healing fossil. Ammonites have absorbed cosmic energy over eons of time and help to stimulate the life force (Chi) within.
