Handcrafted from recycled silver and pure silver droplets and forged into a dragonfly. This is my second free form artisan creation that I’ve made for a special friend. I set a beautiful rich amber cabochon in the body and oxidised it to bring out the texture then hand polished.
It is suspended with a oval Belcher Link Chain 60cm long and 15mm 925 lobster claw clasp and the dragonfly has a drop of 65mm.

In almost every part of the world, the Dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realization.
The Dragonfly’s scurrying flight across water represents an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of life. The Dragonfly moves with elegance and grace. The Dragonfly is iridescent both on its wings and body. Iridescence shows itself in different colours depending on the angle and how the light falls on it. The magical property of iridescence is also associated with the discovery of one’s own abilities by unmasking the real self and removing the doubts one cast on his/her own sense of identity.

In the Native American tradition, spirit animals are an embodied form of a spiritual guide. Spiritual guides can present themselves to us in whatever way we are willing to see them, and it is natural for people to connect with theirs through the face of a familiar animal. You may find that you have one main power animal, or you could feel close to many animal spirit guides. Your animal guide(s) hold a particular quality that could help you navigate life with a bit more ease, faith, and confidence. By Emma Mildon
