Handcrafted Copper Hummingbird Heart Pendant

A warm copper heart featuring a hummingbird surrounded by flowers and foliage. Darkened details bring out the delicate impressions against the polished copper surface.

Handcrafted in my Pomona studio, this pendant was hand sawn and patterned using a rolling mill and design template. The edges were sanded smooth, a handmade copper bail added, and liver of sulphur applied to highlight the design before polishing and a final tumble polish.

Copper naturally develops a patina over time. Gently clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive polishing over the darkened design.
