Custom Handmade Ring for Ann-Maree sold

Ann-Maree saw my post of a similar ring on Marketplace and drove from Caloundra to Pomona markets with her own gemstone, which her husband bought over 30 years ago in Tanzania. We chatted about what she would like and I sent her photos of sterling silver spoons. She chose the one she liked, and now here she is. 

The gemstone is a whopping 39.15ct, the ring is a size 6.75, weighing 18.65 grams.

The band is made from a vintage sterling silver spoon handle from the 1800s and is monogrammed with a “D”. 

These are made from vintage silverware & some signs of a previous life may be visible.

I created this one-of-a-kind ring using a vintage Chateau by Lunt Sterling Silver spoon handle from 1919 as the band for this spectacular tanzanite.

Lunt Silversmiths is the oldest continuously operating, family-owned silver company in the United States. Established as an independent company by George C. Lunt in 1902, the company factory is located in Greenfield, MA at the heart of early American silversmithing.
