Handcrafted Copper Owl Pendant

A striking copper owl pendant with intricate swirling plumage and a textured background reminiscent of tree bark. Darkened impressions highlight the owl’s expressive eyes and decorative feathers against the warm polished copper.

The largest pendant in this group, this substantial piece was hand sawn in my Pomona studio and patterned using a rolling mill and design template. Carefully sanded edges, a handmade copper bail, liver of sulphur patina and several stages of polishing complete the piece, finishing with a final tumble polish.

Copper naturally develops a patina over time. Gently clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive polishing over the darkened design.
